ℹ️ About FIT Seating Plans

This web application was designed to solve the logistical challenge of seating allocation for university exams, midterms, and large-scale academic events.

📐 How Seating Allocation Works

🔤 Alphabetical

For events divided alphabetically by surname, attendees can type their surname and immediately see which lecture hall or room they are assigned to. Czech alphabetical collation is strictly respected (including digraphs such as 'ch' sorting after 'h', and accented letters).

🎯 Precise (xlogin)

For events with assigned desks or precise seating, attendees enter their student ID or xlogin to see their designated room and seat number.

🗺️ University Rooms

Each room in the system links directly to university floor plans and campus navigation maps so students can quickly find their way.

🔒 Security & Architecture

All passwords are encrypted using Argon2 hashing. Content moderators and administrators can secure their accounts with TOTP two-factor authentication. An immutable audit trail logs site operations for transparency.
